ABOUT

                   Norma Galambos
Writer | Podcast Host | Entrepreneur

I am quiet, reflective and inquisitive by nature, and when I changed my employment status from full-time to casual in 2018, I knew the path forward would become clear if I were open to change.

I had no plans to start a home-based business, podcast, lifestyle and food blogs or freelance writing. I didn’t know what I wanted, but I knew what I didn't want, and in a quiet moment, my heart showed me the way. I read an article about blogging, became intrigued, started writing and haven’t stopped.

Having my own space allows me the creative freedom to write about what piques my interest: historical stories, articles about current world events and relatable life experiences. Many of my stories are tempered with humour.

One thing led to another, and I opened a gift shop, selling handmade products and small gift items online, at craft shows and from home. Eventually, I began collaborating with other independent businesses to sell my products at their establishments.

I find joy in having something of my own that I can put my name to; the diversity of my ventures challenges and engages me. On any given day, you can find me writing blog posts or articles for magazines, making products for my shop or recording a podcast or video episode.

My husband and I are farm-raised, small-town Saskatchewan people. We have a daughter, son and four grandchildren. I like reading, spending time in my garden, boating and fishing.

Believe in yourself and keep reaching for what fulfills you.
