Norma’s Notes
- I love this simple salad dressing. Make it fresh along with a big salad and you will be good for a couple days.
- I like the fact that it has no additives or preservatives. The red onion and garlic give it a bold flavour.
- This recipe can also be used as a marinade for chicken breasts.
Ingredients
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup light olive oil
1/3 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp kosher or sea salt
1 large glove of garlic minced
2 tbsp minced red onion
Directions
- Mix together then emulsify with a hand held or regular blender.
- Store in the fridge for up to a week.
